Just got my mAP and was wondering if anyone has tips on how to make this work on a motel wifi. I want to use the mAP as a client to the motel’s system and as an AP for my PCs so I can use EOIP back to my home RB751.
Most motels require a sign in using last name and room number or some other process to accept their terms of service. I’m assuming the PC’s MAC is recorded since this sign in screen goes away for 24 hours. Will the mAP pass the sign on screen to my PC?

For repeater function you have to use the 6.35rc version with wireless - rep package. If you masquerade all the traffic it will work as you wish. Eoip needs accessible ip addresses on both sides so I don’t expect you can run it from hotel wifi. Use sstp or better l2tp instead.
I used the motel’s cat 5 cable and got it to work with 6.34.2 last night, tonight I can’t get the sign on page to load. Too tired to mess with it tonight.
If you are connected by cable you can use whatever version.
