mAP (RBmAP2nD) as WiFi range extender

Hello!

Is it possible to set mAP 2n as WiFi range extender without wires?
In winbox for this device not offered Setup Repeater functionality.

If both devices are Mikrotik, you can read up and use WDS which will extend wifi range
See Mikrotik wiki articles for WDS

Setup repeater is there for sure (unless you are on a too old RouterOS version).

“Setup repeater” will create a “station pseudobridge”/“AP bridge” combination on the one radio the device has. You can even create it yourselves.

“Universal repeater” or “station pseudobridge” for Mikrotik has some drawbacks. Sometimes you are better off with “station”/“Ap bridge” (requires NAT and DHCP server) or with “station bridge”/“Ap bridge” if the other AP is Mikrotik with “Ap bridge” or “bridge” mode set. With “station bridge” there is no need for a WDS setup, “station bridge” has the same function but only works with Mikrotiks. Setting up WDS with another brand can be very tricky, there is no full standardization on WDS (e.g. security)

To use the wifi “AP bridge” part, the “station” part needs to be connected, for the WLAN1 interface to know the radio settings to be used.
