I have a very perplexing problem with an MAP2N. I was unable to reach the device from the WAN ip address. I could ping it and determine it was online, but no access winbox, telnet, etc. I connected WiFi and the device was indeed online and I had access to the internet. I checked services and made sure everything was enabled, there are no filter rules, and only one masq and one dst-nat rule. I deleted the masq and dst-nat rule and it became accessible from the outside. I re-enabled the rules and everything continued to work fine. Rebooted the router and once again lost access from the outside. I’m completely confounded.
It is a very simple setup, with WAN on ether1, ether2 and wlan1 bridged, one masq rule on ether1 and on dst-nst rule forwarding port 9000 tcp to 10.10.10.47.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I have never run into anything like this before.
