Hello. I’ve used MikroTik hardware a few times before, created user-based hotspots for offices and such. But now we want to setup something a lot larger.
We have a marina and a fibre internet connection, and want to provide WiFi to all the boats tied up. My initial thought was a router in the office operating on 5ghz, and a few “towers” in the field, out along the docks, with a 5ghz unidirectional radio, and a 2.4ghz omnidirectional radio in bridge mode.
It’s critical that the end users only see one SSID despite multiple towers, but I’ve never set up a mesh in a situation like this.
Can anyone please give me some pointers on a recommended hardware and software setup?
