maybe somebody can help with this: marking connection with p2p-all has worked very well with RouterOS 5.
When I updated to RouterOS 6 this stopped working on my RB493G.
or if you want to test versions before they are released, email support and you will get them in your mikrotik.com account (and some additional emails)
I am watching the queues in winbox, see screen shot attached. As you can see, only my normal traffic queues are filled at the moment,
using the IP->Firewall with “Mark Connection” and “Mark Packet” to put the packets in the according queue (2nd screenshot)
I am running rtorrent on a linux box inside of our network.
If I change the IP->Firewall rule to mark not by traffic type, but IP address it works again. So generally the marking seems okay, just the P2P filter is obviously broken at least for bitorrent.
So actually I have made a work around now, by just marking all the packets from the server and putting them into the users_p2p queue,
that still works, as the screenshot shows.
