Master Port LED retardness

i have notice some of my routerboards (951UI,Map2N) light up the Master Port LED even if there is nothing plugged into that port, but something is plugged into the slave port group???

how come my 2011 and 951G don’t do this? and why does it do it in the first place. its really confusing

Bumping the topic.

Running 951Ui-2HnD with firmware v3.33 and RouterOS v6.35 - still seeing the same behavior.

thanks for the info, makes sense since only my non gig switch ports are doing it
