Hello:
I have a MT 2.8.26 installed as a pptp server.
Everything works fine, clientes logs in and out perfect, traffic limiting works great.
I start playing around with firewall rules to filter traffic for some clients.
I did the following steps via winbox:
- Create a chain called “ppp”, which holds the dinamyc “jump” rules created when the client connects.
- Create a specific chain to match that client’s traffic.
- In the client ppp profile add the specific chain in “outgoing filter”
When the clients connects, the traffic is matched by the dynamic jump rule, and the specific chain works great.
If I modify the profile and change from “outgoing filter” to “incoming filter”, no traffic is matched by the “jump” dynamic rule in the ppp chain.
Is this a problem or just something I did wrong?
Please, if someone had a similiar problem, please help me.
