Hello @ all, i’m totally news to Mikrotik/routerboard platform. I need to do a wifi bridge from my condo and my parents house and join together both lan with max bandwith ad possible. The distance is 40mt and nothing is in the middle, just a tree that i can shorter or put the cpe 1-3 mt over.
I saw ubiquiti cpe with ac 1300 theorical bandwith but are 1000 euro for a couple, what mikrotik hw you suggest instead of those? Netmetal 5? Do you think to be possible to reach the 800mbps for the netmetal considering the short distance? Or you can suggest another Mikrotik device cheaper and good as netmetal? Another possibility is do a diy solution with a 24db outdoor antenna, 1300mbps AP and rugged ip67 box but i don’t know how much good it will be in the real scenario… Think in advance for clarify my ideas!
What about sxt hg 5ac or qrt?
