Max Filesize That can be handled by MT

Longtime no post.

We have users downloading 4GB plus sized files. Our entire backend is made up of MT boxes. Problem is the download stops with the filesize reported as 0 and the status as completed!

Before we complain to our upstream providers we need to know that this is not an MT issue. File downloads without issues on rivals network. Hmpf.

Solutions/Answers and fast please. Dunno if this has been addressed before but we trawled through the forum and could not find any..

never had any issues before. I would think it is the OS, or the site vs the ISP.

Are you using proxies anywhere?

Certain proxies when not configured properly can have issues with files bigger than 4GB, same with web servers as well… Nevertheless, routers deal with IP Packets, not the actual data. What ever is causing this is a underlying application handingling the DATA, not the network.

It isnt the OS. Must check with the proxy. We use a netcache appliance. Ta m8s.
