Hello,
We’ve got a problem with Mikrotik RB4011 logs. There is an error constantly popping up: “pv4 neighbour table overflow, please consider increasing max-neighbor-entries”. We’ve tried to solve this problem by increasing the number of max-neighbor-entries from 8,000 to 16,000 but the error is still there. Free RAM is 941 MB of 1000 MB. Could you please tell us, how much more is it possible to increase max-neighbor-entries in our model? Wiki says that we should multiply the memory amount in MB by 16 and then multiply by the number of ports. Is it 160,000 in our case? Also, how can we find out why we have so many neighbor-entries, if there are only 7 devices in neighbor discovery, and turning off neighbor discovery doesn’t eliminate the error “pv4 neighbour table overflow, please consider increasing max-neighbor-entries” – it’s still popping up all the time?
