Hello, I am looking to get a router for an application where I need to do approximately 30 IP reservations against the devices MAC addresses.
Two questions: Firstly, is there a maximum number of IP address reservations that I can have on a Routerboard router? I was probably just looking at a RB750.
Secondly, I could be wrong, but from skimming over the Routerboard documentation, it seems that it is possible to assign reservations outside the DHCP pool. Is that right?
For example:
192.168.1.1 - Router
192.168.1.100 > .150 - DHCP pool
192.168.1.200 > .250 - Pool reserved for manual reservations.
Cheers
