Hello,
I have read somewhere, that on one nv2 AP, I can connect 100 clients with good signals, and that will work.
My experience: I use SXT SA ac for AP, using nv2, there are 60clients, all client signals are -55 to -65, I, using 20MHz channel and nv2 security, all clients are sxt Lite5, client packets are 5/1 and 10/2.
In the evening when everybody uses internet, and my AP is working on 25Mbps average, ping is 200ms, and I can get 2-3 Mbps as one of 60 clients. Freq usage is OK.
Do You have some idea, how to set QoS or some nv2 settings, to do this better.
You best QoS is to limit stations to 20-30 per AP. No matter what anyone tell, more than 30 subscribers per AP you services will go from bad to worse. There is no wonder settings that will resolve your problem.
when there is too much clients on NV2 sector you have to use larger TDMA Period to achieve good throughput. It of course means that ping time goes higher.
Thank you. I just put another sxt and set it like another AP with same direction. I moved 20 clients to new AP,and it seems that this helps. So what is the real maximum client number on ideal conditions on nv2?
Should I use nstream instead ?
As with wireless you address one problem but then another appears ?
The next issue you will most likely experience is co-location interference between the two AP’s ?
