max supported vlan

How many vlans are supported on MT routers? vlan-id = 1 … ?

It should be 4096.

if total number of Vlan > ~ 400, after reboot some Vlan dont work, you need to disable and enable them.

sigh…

Time for Ciscos I guess… 3.23, 256 VLANs, and it’s a no go… Can’t even connect to the router via Winbox / SSH / Telnet, console on a /interface vlan print gives “action timed out - try again, if error continues contact Mikrotik support and send a supout file (13)”

Would love to send a supout file, if I can manage to access my freaking router!

Oh well, that was a nice quick test…
