I have a link with -60 RSSI on both sides, running 40mhz channel, using Celeron 1.5ghz processors in a X86 rack mount that will do 57Mbps in one direction with a single wireless card on each side. CPU maxed at 35%.
This might not be the fastest ever possible but it is the fastest cheap and easy solution.. RB411 each side, 5ghz 20mhz channel, nstream on, framer policy=bestfit.. 33-35mbit tcp, 42-45mbit udp..
side1 III Dell GX110 866Mhz 128SDRAM 1x XR5 decreased to 19dBm
side2: P III Dell GX115 1Ghz 128SDRAM 1x Zcom X622 AR5213
40Mhz a.k.a 5Ghz-turbo.
side1 to side2 → 12km
link level: -65/-60
link speed tcp: 60/62Mbps single direction.
link speed udp: 70+ Mbps single direction.
