Maximum RECOMMENDED number of SSIDs?

Hi folks,

I could not find a straight answer for this question (seen at a MTCEWE test last week):

What is the maximum number of SSID recommended by Mikrotik?

I know the maximum number of slave interfaces on Capsman is 32.

I know the maximun number of virtual wireless interfaces is 127 (and they can be set as AP and provide 127 more SSIDs)

I also know that multiple SSIDs on the same radio / environment should be avoided because the beacons, RF spectrum pollution and so on… for me more than 1 SSID is bad (but sometimes necessary), so just want to hear from you guys.

Every SSID you add results in a loss of bandwidth for every beacon and other frills that need to be created,
because beacons are transmitted at the lowest supported data rate.
For example with 10 SSIDs you lost on 2.4GHz as 10% of the bandwidth (not counting the interference).
I don’t know the suggested value, but the value you can accept is important.

for 2.4ghz is a little fix but a big improvement, 6mbps beacon, this is the worst case scenario in 5ghz
