Maximum speed on 10 Gb port for mikrotik CCR1036

Hello,

Could you tell please which was the is the maximum speed achieved with a single stream through 10 Gb port on a CC1036 ? I can not pass over 1.25 Gb.

Thank you

9.9Gbps

maybe you have 1.25Gbps SFP module.

What I am doing wrong? If I do traffic at the switch level I got 3 Gb, but if they use Mikrotik routing the speed is … 1.25 Gb.

Single stream? Wasn’t there a limitation, with the way ROS (not) distributed the load of a single stream, among the cores? Was it addressed recently?

Firstly I want to thank you for your advice.

I am using 6.42.3 ROS version, and graphs attached has been made before posting last night. Now I saw the latest version is 6.42.4. I will update it.

I think you have the right idea here. If it’s a single TCP stream with no firewall rules then ~ 1.2gbps sound about right since it’s limited by single core throughput. My setup with firewall and queues got about 800mbps.

We are having the exact same issues. Is this only an issue with the Routerboard CCR 1036 on an older version of 6.41? I have a 1072 as well that I may swap out at our data center. But need to know if the problem is corrected with the ROS upgrade or with a hardware replacement etc.. Do we need a CCR1072?

Let us know what you all did or if this is still an issue. Thank you.
