HI,

We need to insert the Sierra MC7304 in a Mikrotik Routerboard.
We have been doing test and the interface is not recognized.
is it compatible? We need some special firmware?

Yes, it should work with PPP but not with the LTE interface until v7.

If you are in Australia, I’d wait until MC7430 modem is out in 2nd half of this year that support B28 + the other Telstra 4G bands and NextG.

Hi,

Are you able to share some details on configuration as I’ve the same Hardware. But the PPP device does not connect at all and the info just responds with “modem not responding”

I was able to use the card following the instructions in

/interface lte is not created, PPP/3G only

any news on support for this card in 4G mode for ROS 6.x?

Support for LTE mode will come in RouterOS v7
