Mesh and mAP Lite - is it possible?

Dear Colleagues, is it possible to use mAP Lite as access point in mesh network?

My setup is:

  1. Router + main WiFi = hAP ac3
  2. Additional AP = mAP Lite

I want to connect them as mesh network.
In future want to add additional access points using next mAP Light and connect them as mesh network elements.

Will it work?

You can do what ever you want with any Mikrotik device.
Only limitation is map lite is 2.4G only device. But you can do a MESH network with it.

Will it be exactly what you need, that I don’t know… depends on your use case and performance needs

My use case is rather simple.
In small house I wan to ensure WiFi coverage both for ground and 1st floor.
And I want to avoid cable connection between router and additional AP.
