Hello everyone,
Some time ago I used two access points (from a Chinese brand and the same model) with mesh, the network worked perfectly with the following topology: One of the access points (AP_Root) was physically connected on the router RB951Ui-2HnD and the second (AP_2) was installed on the roof of a house with a distance of 35m and direct visibility between the two APs.
Afterwards I decided to purchase even more access points (of the same brand and model) to expand the network even more, but unfortunately the new access points (AP_3, AP_4 and AP_5) added to the network in mesh mode have a problem.
The problem (it is not possible to connect to the network through the new access points added to the network) although the mesh network is well established between all APs.
For example, if a phone tries to connect to the network through the new access points (AP_3, AP_4 and AP_5), the phone cannot have an IP address.
So I wrote this post hoping to have a solution to my problem and I thank you in advance for your contributions. Kind regards!
