I have two hAP ac³ devices, one as gateway, other one as AP, running RouterOS v7.13.
CAP and CAPsMAN configured, wireless roaming works as per device logs, all good (almost).
However, there is an area in-between where Wi-Fi is spotty, but I cannot install a cable there.
I am considering adding another AP, a hAP ax lite perhaps and configure it in a wireless mesh.
Never configured a mesh before though.
Is this design valid and will it improve internet connection for devices connected to hAP ax lite?
I tried to understand what you want to do but yet to understand.
Can you elaborate a little bit more then what’s already?
Maybe, where do you want the AX to source the internet from?
I have a similar situation in my house. I cannot connect an Ethernet cable to the third device. Two work as CapSman and CAP. After completing the Capsman configuration, I connected the third device as a Repeater wirelessly. Switching access points while walking in and around the house works quickly and correctly.
