metal 2shpn poor wireless performance

Hi, I do too have the same problem with my brand new metal 2shpn, I have tried about everything, reset to defaults, change all parametrs in wireless with no luck, I like mikrotik but this metal really disapoint me to bad I bought my product by ebay in europe, so I am in mexico so there is no way i will send it back it will be ealy expensive so i wanted to ask if there si a fix , I just upgraded to ver 6.0 but the problem persist, i can scan my networks with -30 some other -40 , -50, -70 , I lowered the power card rates went all the way to 5dbm still unable to get a good conection

metal 2shpn + 15 dbi omni antena — trying to conect to a bullet m2hp 3 kms away bad pings,

tx/rx signal jumps from -34 to -60 I also noted when the signal jumps higher the pings respond , but if tx/rx signal goes down i lost mi pings, I really like this product, I hope its a software problem and not a hardware problem, I will be waiting for a fix.

Try “/interface wireless reset-configuration” to get everything to defaults. Check what you get with the default wirelesss settings.

I Just tried right now same problem persist I just changed the ssid after Wireless reset

Do you have any other device to connect to the same antenna and test?

Looks like somebody sold you a defective unit. The wireless amplifier could be damaged.

P.S.: when you post images on the forum, use “PLACE ATTACHMENT IN LINE” to make images normally viewable.

well thank you Thats what I tought since the begining I will buy another one here is a last pic when I run scan I can see like 100 aps even some that are 30 kms , but unable to connect , i will do some testing when the new metal arrives thenk you for your help
