im only 5 meters away from Metal 2SHPn and it shows 22 km away
and why do i have such a low signal…
The Metal is a high power device and should not be used without an antenna ever.
If you are using an antenna on 5 meters the signal will be so strong that it will just not work normally.
And for this distance you should set the ack timing to ‘indoor’
Having all of this said it’s not a surprise it shows incorrect distance.
when i am over 15-20 meters away it says “connection unsuccessful your phone couldn’t reach the wifi network”
i have tried with 15 dbi omni, and 6 dbi omni, same result.
the problem is that the signal is not strong but weak.
Your phone transmitter is weak. Try b/g instead n. Could be better.
my phone transmitter cant be that weak , it works great with other Ap
when i am at 10 meters distance from AP , i cant connect anymore to wifi.
Try to reset wireless and set it manually again.
