Hello - I am new to Mikrotik. I live in a marina and a friend recommended I get an external antenna to connect to the marinas wifi network due to all the sailboat masts making so much noise.
After doing some basic research I found that the Metal would be the best to be mounted outside on deck with the 951 below running a secondary wifi network for my roku and pc.
Now I’ve gotten the Metal to connect to the marina’s wifi network and can directly plug this into my pc, but when I try to connect it to the 951 I am getting lost on if I set the Metal to be a Bridge or if the 951 needs to be configured as an AP or CPE…
Any help on what type of settings I need to do for these units would be greatly helpful!
