Metal 2SHPn used without internet for WLAN, in over my head

Hello all. I recently purchased a Metal 2SHPn as it was recommended for it’s compact size and great range.

My application will be to use it as an access point without internet access, to connect an Ipad to a digital soundboard for outdoor concerts. I tried to start setting it up but I am so lost. I can’t seem to get anything to work.
I was able to upgrade the software to the latest version, but that’s about it.

What do I need to do to get it to work? Soundboard will be set to static, ipad will be static. I’d like to hide the SSID if possible.

Then use directional or panel antenna depending on the distance. It is easy to set what you want. Hope you start with reading the manual and maybe the quickset could help you.
