Just used the Groove METAL and WOW…it is a balastic missile.
Distance 40 km and signals less than 50/50 with just 27 dbi grids.
Amazing stuff so far. Dunno what so much power does to the rest of AP’s on my tower.
That was my concern.
Keep us updated, particularly about self interference, how well it is shielded.
What ping values does the link have?
1-3 ms Tested bandwidth 15 mbps
15mbps for -50 is slow.
I did not test it on bandwidth test. I have posted results for a 30 km link on Groove 5Hn only and even that is better. In this case I just needed to deliver 15mbps.
bandwdith test posted. i am sure it will get better with some tweaking on either sites.
This makes me desire some more RAM atleast 128 on the Groove Metal. A faster cPU close to 800Mhz.
100mbps at 40km .. who else can match …
