hi friends we planned to set up a link at 5 km distance with Metal 5SPn and 30 dbi Grid Antennas. We have established the link at the signal level of -83 that varies to -85. But we couldnt achieve even 1 mbps throughput. Pls friends give ur valuable suggestions…
you have a problem. For 5km and 30dbi antennas you should have ~ -45 in worst case
I too am having trouble with a Metal 5SHPn. Except, my problem is, I can’t get it to connect at all? How is your AP setup? I’m using NV2 and WDS.
Can you post the config’s of your AP and Metal?
