Forgive me if this has been asked elsewhere, but I wasn’t able to find it.
I was curious what frequencies are allowed to use with this unit, and what channel widths as well? Can we step between channels by .1 increments, 1Mhz increments, or is it something else entirely? I ask because we currently use Ubiquiti M900 gear, and you’re limited to using 907, 909, 912, 914, 919, 922, or 924. It would be great if you could do something like 921.6 as a center with these, like you can with Waverider/Vecima gear. Even better would be if we could drop down to 2mhz channel widths where needed.
You may be able to make a custom channel list and play around a bit with frequency.
My gripe is this is not compatible with the Xagl and XR9’s already deployed. We have been asking for a 900 product for years, and now it seems like it may be a swing and a miss. Maybe on new deployments we can use them, although i do not deploy much 900 these days due to lack of speed and interference.
Price point is excellent! So for a point to point through trees, say goodbye to UBNT. Hate that weak gear anyway.
Does anyone have an answer on this one? I wrote in to sales last week, but still not a peep from them, other than an automated notice that a ticket had been opened about it.
The channel width and frequency selection options should be pretty straight forward information for them to give out, unless I’m missing something…
