thanks for all,
but i still not having any answer for my important questions, i want to know the metal or wood box ??? i want to protect my wireless network from interference and atennuations caused by other wifi networks…\ :astonished:

attempting to attenuate RF interferance on a device that by design has an outdoor antenna is a bit impossible. The purpose of the enclosure is to protect from the environment and disipate heat. Wood or metal? Metal. Metal will disipate the heat created by the card better than wood and will actually stay weatherproof much longer. Dont bother building your own. The time / effort / materials to design and build your own boxes are more than the cost of pre-enginnered boxes.

Radio waves travel through wood just fine. Metal stops them. Why would you even consider wood unless you are lining it with metal?
