Hi,
i came along the MetaRouter feature as a great option to implement additional features along RouterOS. Using RouterOS for basic device-operation and implement specific application in an OpenWrt-VM will allow a lot of new features.
But checking around, the last official support-patch for OpenWrt is based on the several years old OpenWrt Kamikaze and a user-maintained support-patch for LEDE / OpenWrt-17.01 can only be found. both releases are not maintained by OpenWrt anymore and should be considered as insecure / having know security issues.
Is there some updates support-patch planned / available?
Is there another OpenSource platform known, that support MetaRouter? (I’m looking for OpenSource, as this will give the freedom of choice in software to include in the VM)
