I just type in CLI: /metarouter add name=mr1
and I get instant reboot of RouterOS and these in logs:
“03:48:04 system, error, critical System rebooted because of kernel failure
03:48:04 system, error, critical router was rebooted without proper shutdown”
If I try to import any image to metarouter I get reboot and then endless bootloop of RB922UAGS-5HPacD
Is is possible to run metarouter on RB922UAGS-5HPacD?
I don’t have an RB922 or any other QCA9557-based board to play with, but it definitely sounds like a bug. If MetaROUTER were not supported, then either the menu would not show up or it would prevent you from creating a MetaROUTER, not just crash and reboot if you tried. So please report this bug to MikroTik Support via e-mail at support@mikrotik.com. (With any luck, the underlying cause for this bug is shared with the instabilities I am running into, and a fix for this problem means an increase in MetaROUTER stability as a whole.)

I have sent them email about this problem.
I also think that this is just a bug.
Maybe there is some sort of incompatibility between MIPS 74Kc V5.0 and metarouter?
MIPS 74Kc V4.xx and metarouter works very well by the way…
update:
"currently, metarouter feature is in non-working state on ac routers. We will
work as fast as possible to resolve the issue. Only workaround is not to use
wireless on the router where you want to run MetaROUTER guest.
