Try a lower class card, high class cards could be incompatible.
What is compatible with rb1100AHx2 ??
Speed Classes defined by the SD Association are Class 2, 4, 6 and 10.
The UHS Speed Classes defined by the SD Association are UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) and UHS Speed Class 3 (U3).
I think I have seen Class10 cards that don’t work, but 2 and 4 mostly work fine. Try one of these.
Or format the card in some linux machine, to make sure RouterOS doesn’t have trouble formatting it.
Many thanks
So where do we stand 2 years later?
Still no compatibility list for what concern microsd ?
Not sure it’s worth it to have class 10 but I was looking at sandisk, transcend, samsung - 8Gb will be more than fine.
Any advise?
Thank you
btw: it seems storage has increased since few months/years to 128 MB ? I saw people complaining about the space available on the device.
Decreased to 16MB on some boards. ![]()
more depend bout “how they partitioned”(type of FS, size of clusers, etc options(there was several, usually)) than controller or flash -specific issues with particular reader/slot used in Router in most cases. there was few exceptions(of different speed/class -cards), but generally its speed-irrelevant issues.
Great stuff, mine says Size:128 MiB
