Microtik, HP smart switch and vlans

Hi,

I am just wondering if you can help me save some time reading what the Microtik routerboards can do.

A client wants internet shared betweem 11 separate office, but for them all to be separate from each other, so vlans.
They already have a HP 1810 48 gigabit smart switch, they just need a router which is capable of supporting 10+ vlans using tagging or pvids.

The router will provide the internet, 1 ethenet lead will patch into an untagged port on the switch, which is also a tagged member of all other vlans.

Is this possible using a Microtik routerboard and how difficult is it to configure please.

This is the router I am looking at - http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/ShopDetail.asp?ProductID=18063

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

you can do all With vlan in mikrotik. you just have to think a bit different, since you need to tagg to Interfaces, and bridge together to untag etc.. Eg to untag vlan 10 from ether1 to ether2.

Add vlan10 to Interface ether1
make a bridge
add vlan to bridge
add ether2 to bridge
