Hi,
I have DMA Radius manager 4 installed in Centos 4 environment. The hardware of the Server is pretty good, it is 3 years old HP server with 4GB memory and Xeon cpu.
I am getting a lot of warning messages “Radius accounting request not sent: no response” and day after day the warnings is overflowing the logs.
the network consist of at least 40 Mikrotik servers hosting more than 2500 online users at a time, and most of them are using prepaid cards. the database is holding more than 50000 active prepaid cards with their logs and details.
I am planning to take backup, format, and install Ubuntu and then install freeradius with Daloradius, because I think DAMRadius manager is so old, and no buddy is updating anything on this software, so I had enough using it.
please if you have any suggestion or advises especially during the backup process and installing the new radius manager.
do you think installing Ubuntu is better than Centos 7. do you think Daloradius will hold my old records?
Thanks
