Hello, as the subject states, Im moving from an RB493AH to an RB1100AHx2. what would be the easiest way to migrate data (DHCP, queues, mangle rules, PCC, etc)
I’ve thought about just loading up putty and doing an “export file settings.txt” then loading that on the new one, but that seems to be asking for trouble.
Nope you should be fine that way. Just make sure you clear out the Mac addresses.
After export check all interfaces by name if corresponding correctly by name.
Just put ethernet cable in first (eth1) port and check in winbox if on eth1 appear R (ready state). Do this for all ports of your RB1100AHx2.
Hehe they fix this problem in v5.12: “winbox, webfig - sort ethernet interfaces properly when more than 10 exist;”
in v5.12 new command “export compact” is what you need
