I am new in mikrotik world, i just bought Mikrotik router ccr 2116 to manage my bandwidth, i don’t know how to start, first,Can i use this router as wired access point or switch? If yes then, Can i manage Internet bandwidth with the router to limit the internet per user?
There is a switch chip in that model, so you can use it as a switch without issue.
Create a bridge, put the ports in the bridge you want switched and so on. Highly recommend you go through the following page to understand more of how switching works on this model and how to configure things.
You will also need to configure all of layer 3 then you can limit bandwidth with simple queues for devices.
