I work for a WISP and I am new to Mikrotik technology. We have a CRS317 Switch that has been acting strange. We noticed that when we plug an SFP+ module into a random port, lets say SFP+ 9, it shows an active light on that port even though the module is not connected to anything on the other side of the cable. I tested this SFP+ module on other SFP+ ports and sometimes the active light comes on, sometimes it doesn’t. I will attach an image of the SFP module used to test this. Has anybody seen this before? Is it a failing switch, or corrupt OS? Or something of that nature? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
