Hi
I found a very old router from my stuff. It is Routerboard 750GL. It has a ROS version 2.34 with packages 5.2. It allows me to configure different configurtions using old versions of WinBox but whenever a pop up message appears, I cannot click on its reponse. I tried to downgrade / upgrade using terminal windows but no success. Its log says “Router was rebooted without proper shutdown” Even after harware reset, I cannot click on “Remove Configurations” or “OK” buttons.
Is ther anything to bring this router back to life or I just have to throw it in trash ?

I would try to netinstall device with eiher stable or long-term v6 (6.49.8 and 6.48.7 respectively). Netinstall is pretty fragile process so it may be necessary to try several times. And stick to instructions very closely. I’d also reset configuration to factory default (i.e. don’t mark “keep configuration”).
ROS v7 is probably an overkill for this device since it requires a bit more of CPU umph than v6, and CPU umph is something your RB750GL lacks the most.
Aftrr you manage to get ROS v6 running, don’t forget to upgrade routerboot as well (it’s available with newly installed ROS and since around ROS v6.40 - give or take - has same version number as ROS).
Thankyou so much mkx. My router is working after flasing ROS with netinstall.
