Mikrotik an L2TP Client connected but not working

We have the VPN server on a remote Mikrotik


at our remote office I set-up a Mikrotik as an L2TP Client it connects and addresses shows it’s getting a remote and local IP from the remote VPN pool

but I can’t access anything on our remote VPN can only ping the remote router but not open it or any other device


remote offices dhcp server is 10.0.0.0/24

we have a dynamic Public on the WAN side on our remote office


not doing site to site VPN because our remote office does not have a static public


anyone have any idea what I’m missing to get the remote L2TP client VPN routing for all devices behind its NAT?

  1. Do you have PPP profile assigned to L2TP Server?
  2. Does PPP profile has local IP address (I recommend to create bridge named “loopback” assign IP address to it and use as local IP for PP profile)
  3. Check if you have any firewall rules that may drop packets from src ip addresses from other side of VPN?

we moved to EOIP

everything is working but Remote access to our NAT Pool
