MikroTik and MPLS

I am completely confused about MikroTik and MPLS; can someone clear this up for me?

My understanding is that if I have two paths from site A to site B I can use OSPF equal cost routing to set costs to, example, 50 and traffic will flow over both paths via hashing, or round robin.

If I then turn up an MPLS tunnel over that OSPF, what happens? In my head, the MPLS rides the OSPF so it should distribute over the OSPF. However, I’ve been told it will break because MPLS in MikroTik doesn’t support ECMP.

MikroTik doesn’t support ECMP for LDP yet, which is what you need to have ECMP in MPLS.

Is it possible to achieve something similar to ECMP with MPLS using a second IGP overlay with TE?

For instance:
OSPF with ECMP base → MPLS LDP → MPLS TE → Secondary OSPF/BGP Instance utilizing the TE interfaces?
