Mikrotik and OpenWrt mesh network ad-hoc mode

Hello, after a lot of research in the forum and outside, I am here to ask some help from you.
I am trying to replace my wireless network devices, based on OpenWrt, with RB’s and ROS.
The actual scenario is a complete mesh network ( backbones are 5ghz and clients on 2.4ghz).
The nodes are conncted in “ad-hoc” mode and bridged with WDS dynamic interface.
My intention is, in the first phase, to substitute first the backbone nodes, then the distribution nodes; I want to do that
causing as low as possible problems to users.
To achieve this I have to interconnect some ROS RB’s with the OpenWrt devices.
I tried several wireless configurations ( ad-hoc mode is not present in the MODE option for the wireless card ).
I put the mode into WDS-DYNAMIC, same frequency, same SSID of the node I wish to connect to.
I changed the MAC and put the same mac of the OpenWrt “cell”, I never had my RB connected to the OpenWrt device.
Scanning from OpenWrt all seems correct except for the mode that is seen as “MASTER” instead of “AD-HOC”.
Please can you help me to interconnect these two tecnologies?

is your routeros client in statios-wds or ap-bridge mode?

Hello, thanks for the reply; I’ve tried both but with no success.

RouterOS wireless driver doesn’t support ad-hoc mode.

Ahhhhh, finally i’ve got at least one answer.
