Mikrotik AP reboots

Hello Forum,

very interesting behavior.

I bought one of these Doorbells from Ring.com.
I connect it via Wifi to a Mikrotik hAP Lite AC.
Hap Lite AC runs latest Ros 6.42.1 (Also tried 6.37 and 6.40)

Doorbell registers properly and show on the PhoneApp.
I can also “call” the the Doorbell from the Mobile Phone App - no problem, I get Audio, Video without issue.

Now the interesting one:
As soon I push the Doorbell “ring” button, the Mikrotik hAP AC lite reboots!

I also tried with a cAP lite - exact same thing. cAP lite reboots.
I tried with my RB2011 - on same ROS v6.42.1 - NO reboot there - all works!

I tried several different setups (WPA vs WPA2, AES vs TKIP, 2.4G vs 5G).
All the same. As soon I push the Doorbell Ring button, the Mikrotik reboots.
Except if i connect it to a RB2011…

When running the latest RouterOS version, try to repeat the issue, and then check for autosupout.rif files in the device. If none exist, make a “supout.rif” file right after it boots. Send it to support@mikrotik.com and we will see what is going on there.
