Mikrotik App - Connection refused

Hi,

I just godt a CRS1009-7 and got it up and running, which was surprisingly easy considering everything I heard about how difficult Mikrotik devices could be to set up.
Now I installed the App on my iPhone and wanted to connect but i keep getting connection refused even though I am on wifi and the api is enabled in RouterOS. I doublechecked the router username and password.

Any ideas as to what can be wrong. My laptop which is on the same subnet/wifi can easily access via winbox.

Is Winbox allowed on that interface? the App uses winbox, not API

Assuming you are trying to connect to the router from within your wifi network at home and not externally like at the coffee shop???
