Was playing around with the MikroTik app for iOS and while it saw the router it wouldn’t connect. It had me second guessing my password till I tried toggling the services and it would appear that it won’t work without the Winbox service running. That’s kind of odd to me. Wouldn’t this be using the web-apis? I prefer not to run Winbox service just for the app.
Apparently yes the Mobile app uses Winbox, it was right in the logs. I would prefer Winbox off but such is life:
