need to know if it possible to set a MikroTik RB or x386 pc as hotspot client ?
one of the isp here using hotspot and need to setup the Mikrotik to be the hotspot for me .
will be waiting your update and comments .

Not sure i understand what you are trying to do..
Please elaborate on this topic!
Mikrotik can be a client of a already existing hotspot and can act as a repeater.
it can also send pppoe authentication details to the already existing hotspot and share the conection.

there was a reply to my question but it seems that owner remove it .
assume your ISP using hotspot for the connection .
you have as example RB411
the wireless lan act as hotspot client , and you nat your lan to this hotspot link .
it is possible with pppoe , where you could make the wireless lan as pppoe client and nat your lan to that link .
so my question is it possible to use MikroTik as hotspot client like pppoe client as i illustrated above ???
