Hello, I have an RB3011, the electricity failed a lot and now when I turn on a message appears on the screen that says Etherboot Mode, and I tried to reinstall the system with the netinstaller but it does not start, for this I am using port 1, if I start the computer with I can access the options with a serial cable but I still can’t get it to start up and see the netinstaller, in the putty I can see that a message appears that says load kernel failure, I also observe that when I tell it to boot through the ethernet a message remains saying bootloader and it does nothing at the end and there is also another that came out at one point saying setting up elf image … not an elf header, I don’t think the equipment is damaged, I also read that I can upload the firmware with the Xmodem but not I know what file to upload if it would be the same as when you download the firmware, can you please help me? thanks
Try to netinstall router. https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Netinstall
Beware that netinstall is pretty fragile process and it easily fails. Which is not necessarily sign of router troubles. And when doing it, keep away from netinstall/ROS version 6.48, it seems to have quite a few nasty bugs.
You may also want to replace power adapter, a marginal PA causes problems as well. Power brownouts/blackouts can push PA over the border of correct operation. Use PA with similar specs (e.g. 24V, 1.2A or more).
Hello everyone, I managed to solve the problem with Netinstall, I solved the issue by changing computers, for some reason the laptop I had does not allow the process to be done.
