as I received the mikrotik ap it was working. Then i opened the cp via the ip adresss (…88.1) and sow a pop up windows with teh unformation … that I should make an update. So i did one ( oh and i was connected via wifi to the mikrotik). fter teh update it was rebooting and the … there wasn’t anymore wifi connection. I was tryiing everythink…tried to reset it with the buttons, tried all the buttons on the box … didnt work. So I conncted the AP to my mikrotik hex router and went trough winbox into the admin section. Then I saw that wifi was diseabled and i could only actiate it with CAPsMan. … Hmmmm … I went to Srvice and did a factory reset. After rebooting teh wifi was still not working. So ain I went trough the hex into the cp of teh AP and now I was able to activate wifi. So I activated the wifi hotsport but … still not working.
Now I don’t really know what to do. I have 3 of these Mikrotik AP and i wanna use them just as an AP (No router)… they will be connected to the hex router and all the 3 AP’s willl be a free wifi hotspot for my guests.
