Mikrotik CAPsMAN - RB800+4xR2SHPn

Hi everybody. I need consultation.
So, we planning create 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi ISP, for our city. Can we use mikrotik devices for this system?
Controller - CCR1036-8G-2S+EM with CAPsMAN.
For AP - RB800 installed with 4xR2SHPn.
Antennas - Sector Antennas 90

Planning: Roaming, 80-120 stations, one internet traffic packet, fiber connection between stations and central base.
But we have some questions:
Can Mikrotik CAPsMAN control, R2SHPn wireless cards transmit power? - (Between AP stations)
How many AP (RB800)or AP interfaces (R2SHPn), can control CAPsMAN?
Thx

what will be your wireless clients?
You can use RB800 with R2SHPn cards just check the power consumption if it would be enough for all the cards and if they will be able to fit in the mini-pci slot.

It is possible to change the tx-power for the boards in the CAPsMAN. But please note that the EIRP in the CAPsMAN is limited to the country that you specify which means you will not be able to set the EIRP above 30db in 2.4ghz.

There is no limit how many APs you can connect to the CAPsMAN.

My user’s devices are phones, tablets, and netbooks (any device with wifi 2,4Ghz)
Users are walking and standing people.
I can use RB800 with R2SHPn or BaseBox 2, as access point.

  1. But I want to know that: If user device is, in coverage (or between) 2 or 3 access points: How CAPsMAN roaming is work? Will, user connected to one point or jumping between points? It’s very important for my project network.
  2. Can, CAPsMAN config for some vlans and must work in another side?
    vlan1 SSID-1, vlan2 SSID-2, vlan3 Management points.
First CCR 1036-8G is CAPsMAN must control user devices. User internet traffic, must working from other second CCR1036-8G.
