Mikrotik CAPSMAN + SONOFF(ITEAD) devices

Hi,
I have an issue to connect my sonoff devices to my capsman wifi network. The problem is, that these devices just can’t to connect. BUT, the big BUT. I used to have simple wifi, not CAPSMAN and all works good. I can’t understand what’s the difference? The range is same, frequency is same, wifi type is same! Maybe something wrong with routes, but it’s just a suggestion. And by the way, when i make hotspot on my cellphone using mobile data connection, all works good!

Please anybody give me a piece of advice, in which way i need to dig in to find a solution?

And if you connect your mobile phone to the Capsman network, (or your laptop), do these devices work?

did you mean internet and other network? yes sure it works normal.

Have you solved your problem? if so how?
Please share for the benefit of the community.

Thanks

Same problem here, any suggestion?

My home network is capsman based. I got 10 sonoff basic installed in the network without much problems.

I have used the “Compatible Pairing Mode (AP)” from the ewelink app on Android.
The “Quick Pairing mode (Touch)” which is the default mode does not worked.

I have capsman based on 2 devices - hap ac2 + cap ac and few sonoffs (basic, dual, pow), each one of them works fine, without any issues while pairing. I used standard quick pairing in ewelink app. You can paste You capsman config screenshots, so I can compare them with mine settings if You like.

Can`t pair Sonoff ZigBee Bridge to CapsMan managed WiFi.
Can pair to Mikrotik WiFi, twhich not managed With CapsMan.

WiFi SSID and Password is the same in CapsMan, then tur off WiFi and Sonoff Zigbee bridge connects sucessfully to CapsMan managed wifi with the same name.
Sonoff firmware = 1.4.1
Mikrotik 7.1.1
BUG in sonoff or Mikrotik CapsMan?

Most common issue between switching from standalone to caps-man… Not actually adding the radio to some bridge.

This has the radio transmitting it’s SSID… But there is not connection back to the network. So no DHCP or later 2 type connectivity.

Check if your firewall blocks port 8080, and remove restrictions on that port.
Unfortunately, sonoff works via this port.
I have several smart switches from sonoff and they work fine on capsman, with default capsman settings.
But they need to access port 8080 to complete the setup.
Also do not forget to set the bridge on capsman configuration to be the same as your LAN.
Capsman needs a bridge to operate.
