mikrotik ccr 1036 port 12

Hi guys,

I am new to Mikrotik. I have this router and I plan to use the last port (eth12) to form iBGP session with another router. However I see the last port labelled as “BOOT”. Is there any concern using the port for the iBGP peering and user traffic in some failure scenarios?

No you can use port number 12.
