Mikrotik CCR1072 PSU1 & PSU2 Question

I hope that someone can shed some light on this for me, we have a CCR1072 and need to understand if my PSU1 have failed, here is my info:

psu1-voltage: 12V
psu2-voltage: 12.1V

psu1-current: 0A
psu2-current: 5.5A

Is my PSU1 failing, busy failing or perhaps in a “Passive” state?

Kind Regards
Philip Willemse

Seems failed and need attention. I have 1072 and both psu’s sharing load. Like;

psu1-voltage: 12.2V
psu2-voltage: 12.2V
psu1-current: 2A
psu2-current: 3.2A

Thanks for the input, I am perplexed though because I got the following information from Mikrotik:

1ST RESPONSE
This is normal behavior. PSU with the highest voltage will be the one which is used.

2ND RESPONSE
Hello,
In this case, you have the same voltage for both PSUs, which is why the load is split.
Regarding the failure, if you see that the voltage has dropped on one of the PSUs, that would mean that the PSU is failed.

If you can do a “lab test”, then remove PSU2 and see if device keeps running afterwards … without any hiccups. With failing PSU you’d see strange things happen quite soon.
